Turning Things Around

Don't forget to check out the Y-Not? blog... Life According to Tony today at
One interesting fact about Tony is that he is from Tasmania and he is a redneck and don't even know it.

Flat Tony made a visit to Gatorhead and You can check it out there.

Does Buster eat wheaties in the morning?
Will this be the end of Skip Tracer?
Will the Men In Gray be as easy to handle as Skip?
Will Agent Crump ever get to go to lunch?
Find the answer to these and other questions by coming back Monday. Don't forget to come back tomorrow for the Creatures of Habit comic. Don't forget the comics on the Gatorhead site. You can get there by clicking on the sign below:

Trouble Is Coming to Gatorhead

Meet Skip Tracer Bounty Hunter and Repo man. Will he bring trouble to Gatorhead or will he find more trouble than he is willing to handle? You will have to come back Wednesday to find out.
While the Men In Gray are planning and plotting on how to get Shirley back to the government facility she escaped from it seems that Aunt Edna's facebook might be causing more trouble in Gatorhead than she ever imagined.
By the way, are you a friend of Aunt Edna's on facebook. Why don't you check it out and get to be friends with her?

Buffalo Wings

Boomer actually did say this. It is hard to know sometimes when he is joking and when he is serious. I don't know where he gets it from.

Life Is Good

Especially the last 39 years that I have been married. Happy anniversary Glowri. I hope we make it another 39 years.

Get Rid of The Airbag

I had to do four panels to get this one in. For some reason my wife Glowri, didn't think this one was all that funny. (Of course she don't think many of them are but I know she has a sense of humor because she has stayed married to me for 39 years as of tomorrow.)

After The Oil Spill 2

This is my second installment of the Creatures of Habit- After the oil spill. I have always heard about the mutant gators in the New York City sewers so I did this one. I might have a few more following this one next week.

The Only Hope!

Will other people be looking for Shirley to get the reward?
Will Agent Shagnasty save the day for the men in Gray?
Will Agent Crump ever get to eat lunch?
Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of politicians? It seems like the Men In Gray know. Hey isn't gray the color of a shadow?
Hey don't forget to use the Facebook Icon to the right of this comic to share todays comic with your friends and family.

After The Oil Spill 1

I was just thinkin' what effect the BP oil spill would have on the coast and I got some ideas for a few comics. I guess it ain't really funny what is happening but hey... I do a webcomic so here is the first one.

If They Only Knew

I think Director Haws is right about the public being outraged if they knew of some of the pork barrell projects our congresmen keep supporting to get re-elected. You can probably tell that Agent Shagnasty is gung ho while Agent Crump is maybe a little slow on the uptake.
Come back Wednesday for anogther episode of the Men In Gray as they prepare to find Shirley the Monkey.
Will Gatorhead Survive?
Will The Men In Gray survive?
Are they lookin' for a monkey or the cat that was let out of the bag?

Tornado Recovery 3

Staying in a small camper can get kind of cramped for a ten year old. Especially one who would rather be in the woods than inside anyway.

The good news is that they have the lot cleaned up and are ready to put a new home on that spot. They are thinkin' of a modular home or a double-wide. That will be the quickest. Things are lookin' up for Boomer and his family.

Something To Believe In

Hank's Hotline will be back next week. I haven't posted a Mildred solo page for awhile and thought I would insert it here. Don't forget to check out Mildred and Edna as they go toe to toe on Gatorhead on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Why We Wear Gray

Are these guys for real? (Of course not they are comic strip characters)
Will the gray suits catch on and become a trend?
Will there be a run on them at Men's Warehouse?
Who knows but I needed to put some questions here.

In case you don't know what a kingpin is

Here are a couple of definitions
1. leader: the most important person in a group or place (informal)
2. part of axle: a pivot pin that secures an axle to an axle beam and allows a vehicle to be steered

These are the people in charge of keeping secret projects funded with federal money. (This is all purely fictional and any likeness to anyone living or dead would be a real hoot.)
The people here depicted are Director Haws, Agent Shagnasty, and Agent Crump.

I have always wondered why some federal employees have the first name Agent or Special Agent.

Will these guys bring trouble to Gatorhead?
Can they handle the trouble they will find already in Gatorhead?
Does anyone on America's Got Talent really have talent?

Tornado Recovery 2

Just seeing the damage from a powerful tornado is enough to scare even a grown man, much less a 10 year old boy.

Tornado Recovery 1

I have used Boomer in some comics in the past. My grandson is the model for Boomer who turns 10 next week. Recently my daughter's home was destroyed by a tornado. Thankfully her husband was at work and she an my grandson were out of town with my wife and I. I am going to use the weekends for a couple of weeks to depict torndo recovery through the eyes of a 10 year old boy who has lost the only home he has ever lived in.

Shoulda Seen It Comin'

Will Hank ever get to finish a fishin' trip?
Is he really surprised to know someone is lookin' for Shirley?
Will he be able to save the special relationship between Shirley and Buster?
Come back Monday as we officially begin the "Men In Gray" storyline and meet the Men in Gray. Director Haws, Agent Shagnasty, and Agent Crump.
Check out for the latest Edna and Mildred conflict.

Tuesday, June 8, 2010

Usually I put a Creature's of Habit Comic on this page but Edna's Facebook plays an important part in what goes on with Hank The Handy Man and especially in the Upcoming series dealing with the "Men In Gray". I just wanted to insert this here to kind of get the ball rolling for the Men In Gray storyline.

Don't forget to check out my blog on the Gatorhead site today. I am going to spend some time in the next few weeks letting you know about some other talented people on the net who have been really helpful to me over the past few months.

Sorry about being late posting today. I didn't have an internet connection all weekend and am just getting to one.
Will this news report have an effect on the people of Gatorhead?

While this comic and the next one are a little short on the humor side (as are a lot of my comics) I need to use it to set up the next Series of Hank The Handy Man... "Men In Gray". This will be running for the next several weeks and I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I have enjoyed writing and drawing it.

Can you imagine the stories animals could tell about back in the day? (That is if they lived that long.)
Hey y'all leave me a comment or ask a question. If you have a question about weird animal behavior I will turn it over to the Gatorhead Research department and maybe we can come up with an answer. Your input will make this a much better comic.

Was Crusher really working as a covert agent for the government?
How bad will this comic strip get messed up if the government does get involved.
