This is a day set aside to remember those who have fallen in service of our country and we here at Gatorhead wanted to do just that. Come back tomorrow for the regular Monday edition of Hank the Handy Man
This reminds me of a man I knew that chewed tobacco. He said, "You can't please women no matter what you do. You can stand on the porch and spit out in the yard and they get mad. You can stand in the yard and spit back on the porch and they still get mad."
I just kind of threw Winston in here because he has been hanging around my slush pile for a couple of months and I was afraid he was gettin' impatient. I am thinkin' of usin' some of the stuff that I have had for awhile but didn't have a spot for on weekends. I don't want you weekend visitors to think that you are being slighted though so if you feel that I am letting you down on quality just leave me a comment.
Remember this though, when you produce close to 20 posts per week... "They ain't all goin' to be jewels." Bo
Again my apologies. I have some Kurt and Burt comics in the works but Weekends have been real slow and and I might switch them to the Gatorhead site and use the weekends for some bits of Bo Wisdom and some blogging. I just want everyone to know that I am very open to suggestions and I just want to utilize my time to offer you the best entertainment that I can. This is not a cop-out. (Well maybe it is.) The Gatorhead Research Department is working hand in hand (I might have to check that out.) with the Gatorhead Creative Committee to insure that you get the most quality entertainment for your money. (Okay it's free but I still want you to like it because I have a psychotic need for your approval.) You can leave me a comment or make a suggestion and I will certainly consider it. If you don't I will probably be unable to sleep tonight because I will wonder if anyone really cares. Thanks for your support.
I didn't have a Hank's Hotline ready for posting at the time I was uploading my comics and someone had said that they would like a before and after picture of Crusher and his makeover. Here it is. Hank will be back with his advice on Hank's Hotline next Friday. I already have one in the works. Sometimes even I experience a day or two of writer's block. The ideas are flowing again and all will be as normal as it can get in Gatorhead by next week.
Is there really more to Julius than meets the eye? Can Buster find his Funk and Wagonels? What kind of special work could Crusher have been involved in? Will any of this really matter after the oil spill in the Gulf wipes out the entire Coast and coats it in 40 weight motor oil?
Did Shirley remove part of Crushers brain along with his hair? Were Crusher's brains in his hair? Would you have ever pegged Crusher for a Julius? I know you just can't wait for next week to find out all these answers.... but you are going to have to. Meanwhile there will be another Creatures of Habit tomorrow so the rest of the week won't be a total loss.
Today Shirley and Buster are making an appearance over on Bearmans blog at http://beartoons.com/ Bearman has pledged to give some money for charity for everyone who follows his complicated guidlines and does all the things he asks his multitude of fans and groupies to do. Being a faithful fan I have tried my best to cost him as much money as possible so go on over and check out his site.
My good friend Robert of Spilled Ink Guy fame has graciously included me in his comic strip. His artwork and humor are awesome and I count it a great honor to be a guest character in his strip. You can check it out at http://spilledinkcartoons.com/ Be sure and give him a visit.
On a recent comic, Lynn commented that she had always wondered how these animals wound up in upright empty garbage cans. Our research department at Gatorhead Comics did some research and finally came up with an answer.
You can check out some really interesting stuff over on Lynn's blog at http://trippinwithrip.wordpress.com/. They comb the internet lookin' for interestin' stuff and they usually find somethin'.
Don't forget to check out the Gatorhead site today. There are some interesting people in the webcomic community and I have mentioned a few of them in today's blog there. I am going to try to do a little better at mentioning others and letting my readers know about the great people who blog and do webcomics. Check it out.
All content on this blog is produced by Bo Lumpkin. The writing, the filming, the acting, the drawing, the editing, the posting. It is a hobby but I go to lot of trouble so help me out and pass it along.
