I was just thinkin' what effect the BP oil spill would have on the coast and I got some ideas for a few comics. I guess it ain't really funny what is happening but hey... I do a webcomic so here is the first one.

I think Director Haws is right about the public being outraged if they knew of some of the pork barrell projects our congresmen keep supporting to get re-elected. You can probably tell that Agent Shagnasty is gung ho while Agent Crump is maybe a little slow on the uptake.

Staying in a small camper can get kind of cramped for a ten year old. Especially one who would rather be in the woods than inside anyway.

The good news is that they have the lot cleaned up and are ready to put a new home on that spot. They are thinkin' of a modular home or a double-wide. That will be the quickest. Things are lookin' up for Boomer and his family.

In case you don't know what a kingpin is

Here are a couple of definitions
1. leader: the most important person in a group or place (informal)
2. part of axle: a pivot pin that secures an axle to an axle beam and allows a vehicle to be steered

These are the people in charge of keeping secret projects funded with federal money. (This is all purely fictional and any likeness to anyone living or dead would be a real hoot.)

I have always wondered why some federal employees have the first name Agent or Special Agent.

Just seeing the damage from a powerful tornado is enough to scare even a grown man, much less a 10 year old boy.

I have used Boomer in some comics in the past. My grandson is the model for Boomer who turns 10 next week. Recently my daughter's home was destroyed by a tornado. Thankfully her husband was at work and she an my grandson were out of town with my wife and I. I am going to use the weekends for a couple of weeks to depict torndo recovery through the eyes of a 10 year old boy who has lost the only home he has ever lived in.
