Sometimes Shagnasty might just be right about Crump's impulses. Maybe his instincts will get him into trouble along the way.
Come back tomorrow for a new Color comic featuring The Men In Gray. I am doing my best to make a transition to mostly color. I sure would like some feedback. Not being an artist has it's
drawbacks in the webcomic world. I have only been drawing for about two years now and I will be 60 years old this month. I am basicly a storyteller and the artwork has been secondary to the storyline. The problem with spending a lot of time on art is that by the time I get the story told I am afraid that it has become stale.
I am going to try to step it up and post any continuing story more often so that it will be easier to keep up with the storyline. Once I finish the story I might switch back to some of my older basic characters. I am going to try to work mostly in color from now on except when I think the grayscale looks better. Like I said I would like some input not only from the casual readers but also from some of you people who obviously know what you are doing.
Thanks for the help.

More Rednecks. More Fun.

  1. What program are you using to draw and color in. Might be able to give you some tips.

  2. I think they have cut-rate prices Steve.
I am using to draw and color in Bearman. Any tips are appreciated. Next week I should be in full color everywhere. If you or anyone else reading this sees some obvious problem (other than my artwork might stink) please let me know what I am doing wrong. A self educated man is almost the same as an uneducated man.

  3. No familiar with that program but I see from their site that they support layers. Important and easy way to add color is to put your colors on a layer below your artwork. That way you won't run into issues with color pushing on your inks. Hope that helps.

  4. Whoa, Bates Motel! Ha,ha,ha!

  5. Yeah, but I hear the showers are nice and spacious... if you don't mind the red stains... uh... that's paint... lol

  6. *reet reet reet* (ummm ... that was supposed to be horror music ... I think)! :)

  7. Oh, don't worry. Everything should be fine. They have free wi-fi!
