I was the only person in the history of our school who took Latin I and failed it both times. I do understand why they call it a dead language... it nearly killed me.
We had to take Latin for so many years. My 7th grade I had such a bad teacher (I think I got c's) that I was flunking in 8th grade. My 8th grade teacher had a sit down with me and she realized how awful everyone was doing and started over. I ended up with B's that year and went on to get A's the next 2.
All content on this blog is produced by Bo Lumpkin. The writing, the filming, the acting, the drawing, the editing, the posting. It is a hobby but I go to lot of trouble so help me out and pass it along.

ReplyDeleteAt least with a dead language change is not inevitable.

You and me both Winston.
ReplyDeleteI never took Latin, but I have a feeling it would have been brutal! :)
ReplyDeleteYou should have taken a living language instead - like Esperanto - the language of the future! Heh heh.
