HANGIN' OUT

Looks like Hank ain't lonesome enough to hang out with Buster yet. He better check though because Shirley's social calendar is pretty full.

I got the results back from having my head examined and everything seems to be okay. They said that I was about a quart low on B12 though so I have to go in and take shots every day this week and then once a week for a month. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers. I am ready to get back into the swing of things and hit the ground running. I hope to be caught up with posting on both sites by Monday.

I've Got a Secret

Bo Is Having His Head Examined

Hi y'all I'm Bo Lumpkin and I've been thinkin'.

Well actually the problem is that I ain't been thinkin' real clearly lately. I have been havin' some dizzy spells, some concentration problems and problems with my memory.

For years folks around here have been tellin' me I need to have my head examined. I had it examined twice this week. I had a CT scan and that came back clear... I don't know if clear means it is okay or that they didn't find a brain. I had another scan Friday where they pumped dye in me and scanned my brain again. They told me it might make me feel like I was wetting my pants. What made them think I knew what it felt like to wet my pants? My mind ain't that bad yet.

I am waiting to hear from the results of that scan... hopefully today!

Due to the fact that I have been spendin' most of my time runnin' between doctor's offices and places to have my head examined I have did not have a chance to upload my comics and other stuff to the internet. I will try to upload some of them this week but my postin' might be a little eratic.

I also have not had a chance to visit all my friends' websites and leave comments the way I would like to. I am hopin' that this week everything will get back to normal by the end of the week and that I will have everything back to normal on Monday.

If you are on my email list that might really be messed up until next week. I thank you all for your patience.

BTW... I am feeling much better than I felt last week. I just might be getting CRS disease... Can't Remember Stuff.

A JOB WELL DONE

When I reduced this down to fit it makes it hard to tell that Shirley is holding a roll of Toilet Paper. I sure would like some feedback on the color comics. They take a lot longer than the Black and White I am used to.

TIP FOR THE TAXPAYER

It looks like Shagnasty is a cheap one. I wonder if later on we will find that he might have some other undesireable traits.

I haven't had a Kurt and Burt comic posted in awhile and I thought it was about time. I am trying to upgrade the settings and work on some new material. I hope to have them back on a regular basis before too long.

GATOR TALES 2

Since I have been doing Creatures of Habit I will see two animals and imagine what they may be communicating to each other. I haven't told people about this and it might be just as well. I think my weiner dog would tell me... hey don't worry about it... just go with the flow and maybe it will work out. He is the quiet type though and doesn't give much advice.

GATOR TALES 1

When I was in the 8th grade my history class was about Prince Henry the Navigator. The teacher asked us what a navigator was and I raised my hand (a very rare occurrence) and she called on me (she should have known better) I told her, "A navigator is one of those things that lives in the swamp and grows up to be a suitcase." She got so tickled at the answer that I didn't even get in trouble that time. I can't claim originality for it though. Curly on the three stooges said it once.

I think Crump might be onto something. If the Bounty Hunter found Shirley on Edna's Facebook then a super secret government agency should be able to. Crump seems to be functioning a lot better since he got lunch but Shagnasty still has an attitude.

Shirley might be the smartest one on the whole crew. At least it looks like she came prepared. It wasn't very thoughtful of her not to bring gas masks for Hank and Buster though.

Sometimes people like Shagnasty are very offended when you make fun of the boss behind their back. I really don't think Crump is trying to be mean. I'm not sure Crump tries to do anything. I think like a lot of other people life just happens to Crump and he goes with the flow.

ANOTHER EXTREME MAKEOVER

I have been trying to spend some time improving my artwork and the look of my comics. This one took me all of Thursday afternoon so I would be able to post it Friday with this week's posts.

While I am trying to improve my drawing and comic layout skills I don't want to sacrifice the writing. Hope y'all enjoy this little experiment.

By the way Creatures of Habit will be on Thursday and Friday of this week. We at Gatorhead Comics are thinking of upgrading our schedule and making some major changes in scheduling in the future. I will try to keep everyone posted in the mean time. (I have even thought about taking a hiatus until I get the new studio ready and maybe getting some HTHM comics way ahead of time so that I might up the schedule on them. I am afraid that posting them only twice a week kind of makes the story line drag out.
